All Information Is Propaganda

I am not amused anymore whenever a pattern of deceptive influence is exposed in the world we live in – there is nothing new to it and reacting to it is what feeds it further. I consider all human knowledge to be propaganda. Every thought, whenever and however expressed, always, carries a purpose with it.

No thought is original. Culture, language, grammar, script, history lessons, facts – fun or scientific, gods, heroes, folk stories, news, lyrical songs, artworks, movies, anecdotes, blogposts like this, or conversations with anyone close or distant written or said – there is a message in everything which is trying to always convince, barter, haggle, warp, enamor, influence and incite.

The message acts as an independent unit, whose only purpose is to wedge itself into the mind. Together these wedges coordinate, giving rise to a greater plan, which steers your thought and actions. The motive of the original creator seldom matters – the provider of that information to you, and the later emerging challenger, steer your opinions and feelings on it.

There is no escape from propaganda and there are no moral weights to put on it either. Thus, something as pervasive and timeless (as I make it to be) must surely serve some purpose. All and any information, below the surface, is doing its bit to preserve one of the many overlapping fractals of power structures we have in our societies. And the reason for the existence of these structures will never be known as this is definitely not something that would make sense to our individual capabilities.
