Everything is Boxes

Everything is boxes, I say. Buttons. Cases. Cell Walls. Containers. Bags. Classifications. Words, themselves. We continue the desire of nature to group what is like. Right from the start we have tried to store, beyond our own meatbags, and now the abstract.

Boxes for storage, new boxes with mechanisms to create perfectly fitting boxes, boxes which keep warm, boxes which keep cool, boxes which do both and move; boxes of light, boxes for sound, boxes which create both; boxes for thought itself, boxes which represent things that are not boxes; boxes to touch, boxes to click on with a pointing box, boxes which link to other boxes, boxes which contain more boxes.

Everything is a box. Everything is boxed. Everything is boxes.
